Luciana Paoluzzi was born in Rome and raised in Rome by her parents. Her father was Manlio Paoluzzi who was an Italian soldier in the Army. Maria Rota Paoluzzi was one of the mistresses of Benito Mussolini. Luciana does not have known siblings. Luciana studied at an elementary school in the area before going to the Scientific Academy of Milan in 1955. Luciana was one of only two females in the class. Luciana began as an actress in fashion after two years. Her professional career took a turn following, and by luck, she was offered her first part in Three Coins in the Fountain. Brett Halsey - an actor was her first husband. They completed Return to the Peyton Palace following their wedding in 1960. Luciana had the custody of Charles, born 13 June 1961. They divorced the following year. Luciana was in a relationship for a long time with Tony Athony who was an actor and film producer. Tony was inspired by her role in Green Slime to create the Spaghetti Western.
