Zoe-perry
Perry was the daughter of Laurie Metcalf (actor) and Jeff Perry (actor). The character Jackie Harris was played by her mother in each of the two shows she starred in on Roseanne. She did not pursue acting as a career after reaching adulthood because her parents were concerned about the adverse consequences stress can be a cause of. Perry was a part of the drama's nine episodes from 2016 on the ABC drama The Family. In 2017, she played an recurring role in her own ABC drama about politics Scandal which starred her father. She was also cast in her role on the CBS sitcom The Big Bang Theory spinoff Young Sheldon as a version younger than Mary Cooper, Sheldon Cooper's mother. The character was assigned to her through audition, despite the fact that she is a relative to the role.
