Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw (Elizabeth Alice MacGraw) is an American animal rights activist, author also a model, actor and author. Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus '69 and The Getaway '72 are some of her most acclaimed films. Born and raised in a family of artists living in New York she wished to work in the field of arts. While working as an assistant to photographers then she turned her attention to acting and modeling. MacGraw was awarded her Golden Globe Award, for the most promising debutant. The MacGraw's Love Story from 1970 was one of the biggest hits that gained her fame worldwide, as well as an Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe Award. In just three years, she was named the top female box office starter in the whole world. In 1972, her footprints along with her signature were inscribed on the wall at Grauman's Chinese Theater. She was a part of several different films, such as The Getaway Convoy Players and television miniseries The Winds of War among other. Moving Pictures is her autobiography, published in 1991. MacGraw has married thrice.
